Think Again Families - A Safe Homes Project

Drug and alcohol abuse is a very real threat to the lives and futures of our young people. We want them to know that we will do all we can to provide them with healthy recreational settings. This is the goal of the Safe Homes Project, to encourage parents to make a voluntary commitment to other parents to take an active role in assuring a healthy, alcohol and other drug-free environment for their children and their children’s friends.

It’s not easy being a preteen or teenager, but it’s sometimes even tougher to be a parent.  Share the load- join SAFE HOMES. If you agree that it is important to establish clear guidelines for teenage parties and other gatherings and to provide mutual support among parents for reinforcing those guidelines, please contact Alaina Tippey at 217.222.8440, ext. 146 to join. As a SAFE HOMES parent, you will be a part of a published network of parents supporting one another in a stand against underage drinking and other drug use by the youth in our community.

If you are already a Safe Homes Parent, please enter the pass word below to view the Safe Homes Network.
